Was checking the RPIs on the balance of Army's chedule and found what was expected, four of six remaining opponents have RPIs lower than Army:

Eastern Michigan: 132
Temple: 128
Air Force: 135
Hawaii: 110

Then two teams are playing well:

Western Kentucky: (4-2) 74
Navy: (3-1) 43

Surprising you have Army not winning one of these. Yes they have several players out hurt, but are expected back in the coming weeks.

The Army defense is getting better every week with the first solid defensive line they have had since the 2010 bowl team with Bobby Kough, Richard Glover, and Mike Eugenyi. Junior Julian Holloway has emerged as a solid linebacker. Key will be return of safety Geoffery Bacon, their top tackler last year.

On offense Army has junior running backs Larry Dixon in his third year as a dominating fullback and slotback Terry Baggett showing outside speed. They have also found a break away receiver in freshman Xavier Moss. QB Angel Santiago was hurt last week but the sophomore Kelvin White comes in with a physical presence at 6-3 215 and a major throwing arm.

The offensive line behind center Ron Powis and left tackle senior Michael Kime has blocked well for the option offense despite averaging just 250 pounds per player.

Upside for Army is 4-2 the rest of the way by the RPIs which would put them in their contracted bowl game. But you have to play the games. Key to turning around the season is a win this week at home against Eastern Michigan, then a chance to avenge recent season lop sided losses at Temple. A bye week and then a trip to Air Force who Army beat at home last year.

Army finally has depth in upper classman in the lineup with as many as 5 seniors and 12 juniors starting.

Believe you should be more optimistic about the balance of Army's season.
