Notre Dame is 9-4 vs. the RPI top 50 and has five losses overall. Kansas is 8-2 vs. the RPI top 50 and only has two losses overall. Kansas has a much better record against a tougher schedule (KU's SOS is ranked 12th, ND's is 29th). There is no objective argument that can made in favor of ND getting a better seed than Kansas.
